We would like to give Reverend Peter Preble a rave review. From our first meeting he made us feel very comfortable with him. He has a kindness that made us feel at ease with him immediately. My husband and I walked away from that meeting saying he reminds us of one of our closest friends. His flexibility was amazing from allowing us to write our own ceremony to joining us for our rehearsal the evening before our wedding. Even after saying all of this, the moment that impressed me the most was when he performed the ceremony. The way he spoke the words we had written brought many of our guests as well as ourselves to tears. Happy tears of course. To conclude , my husband and myself would highly recommend Rev, Peter Preble. He will not disappoint.

My fiance and I first met Peter at a wedding expo. From the onset his friendly open demeanor appealed to us. We were looking for someone who could provide us a custom ceremony. While Peter is a Reverend, he can provide both religious and non-religious ceremonies. This appealed to us as we were not looking for anything overtly religious, but we could still have options to include religious aspects in our wedding. After doing a consulting call with Peter, we decided to have him officiate our wedding. In addition, Peter offers pre-marriage coaching sessions. We met with Peter for four of these sessions. It was great to get to know Peter while also getting a chance to talk through important relationship aspects with my fiance. As for the ceremony, Peter worked with us to build a custom script. The ceremony itself was perfect, and Peter was a reassuring figure as we said our vows. Would 100% recommend Peter to anyone.

We couldn’t be more pleased with Reverend Peter! My future husband and I wanted an officiant to marry us, we liked that he was spiritual and was able to incorporate our catholic upbring without being overly religious. We met Peter at a bridal expo and he was as sincere and genuine as our first encounter. He did not try any gimmicky sale pitch, that you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does! We opted for the wedding coaching for the ability to better know ourselves as a couple as well as getting to know Reverend Peter. His coaching sessions included an intense questionnaire that involved a series of questions from family upbringing and specific values and handling the stress that comes with the wedding process. It was great insight to learn about my future husband’s pet peeves and feeling on things we might not otherwise talk about on a daily basis. Peter was able to talk to us about not only the wedding process but life afterwards. He helped prepare us for the reality in potential struggles of a couples and approaches to meet each others needs. It was nice to have someone to talk about post wedding planning. On top of everything Reverend Peter was was quick to respond to any questions. He was able to customize a ceremony that was unique for us and incorporated our families. He has a lot of experience and on our wedding day, he did a wonderful job and everything went seamless. Thank you again for everything Reverend Peter, we really appreciate it.

I got married on August 11, 2018. We met Rev. Preble when he was the interim pastor at Bethany Cong. Church in Quincy,. We liked his style and hired him to officiate at our wedding (at said church). We met with Rev Preble in advance to discuss what type of service we wanted, etc. etc. and he gave excellent advice on what he has seen work well vs not so well in past weddings that he has officiated at. He was easy to get in touch with during the planning process, was happy to answer questions regarding service options AND he was happy to keep the ceremony to the 30 minute target we were aiming for. Though we were getting married in a church, we aren't super religious so we requested a very simple ceremony with a prayer but no sermon or communion (we had two readings which were secular). He is happy to tailor the content to whatever you wish. He did a wonderful job and we would certainly recommend his services!

Rev. Preble was fabulous. We were so lucky to find a person like Rev. Preble to officiate our wedding. I married a Catholic man, but I am not Catholic and we wanted to get married outside. It was hard to find the right person to be the officiant. When we met Rev. Pete he was kind and spent time getting to know us. He is warm and friendly, but also very professional. He drafted a very personal ceremony for us after we met, and I was able to add a few readings during the service, which meant a lot to us. On the day of our wedding he was a friendly face to see at the end of the aisle, and we had the most beautiful ceremony thanks to him. We had a great experience with Rev. Preble, and I highly recommend him to be your wedding officiant too! You can't go wrong with Rev. Pete.

We had a Revolution Era wedding at which Rev. Preble presided. Not only did he perform a beautiful ceremony, he looked like he was plucked right out of the 18th Century. (We all did, but you don't see clergy very often at living history events so it was very cool.) It was fantastic, and he even used an old prayer book, which made it even more authentic. It was magical. A day I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life.
